June Lake is well known for it's great fishing, but it is becoming a well loved Eastern Sierra destination for it's abundant hiking trails, scenic beauty & quaint lodging accommodations. Nature is abundant & there are several lakes to enjoy on the June Lake Loop, Hwy 158. This is a spectacular place for Autumn colors, as the aspen trees lining the lakes & streams produce a golden glory of reflections to welcome the winter snows. June Mountain is an uncrowded ski destination & the slopes are perfect for beginners.

June Mountain Ski and Snowboard Resort, spans a vertical rise of 2,590 feet with over 500 acres of runs. Six chairlifts, two of them high-speed quads, and a beginner surface lift serve a variety of terrain for all abilities. June is known for its unparalleled views along long tree-lined runs of gentle pitch, as well as challenging chutes and steeps for the experts, and a frequent abundance of powder snow. Carl Williams, General Manager and his staff, will do their best to ensure you a memorable skiing/riding experience. The mountain also boasts a top-notch terrain park department, creating jumps, rails and other freestyle features as well as a world-famous halfpipe. Top pro riders and olympic medalists can be spotted among the riders at June. Since 1962, the friendly family-style atmosphere along with less-crowded slopes, have made June Mountain a favorite among all ages and persuasions of snow sports enthusiasts. June's operating season typically runs from mid-December through mid-April.
